Our Neighbourhood – Our Future
The Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood Forum emerged from the Mount Pleasant Association (MPA). MPA was established by the local community group living and working around the proposed development at the Royal Mail Group’s (RMG) Mount Pleasant sorting office in Clerkenwell to put forward a better alternative. Unfortunately Boris Johnson granted planning consent for the much disliked propsals and these are now being built by Taylor Wimpey. The Neighbourhood Forum exists to be a voice for local people to influence better design for future developments in the area.
